Two of the world's greatest guitarists in a stunning collaboration that updates their sold out London debut of 2002.  'The gig was an inspiration' -The Guardian

American superstar Bill Frisell and his band join forces with Malian master Djelimady Tounkara for a stunning collaboration.  Bill Frisell's music draws on the full range of American music from rock to blues and country to jazz, whilst Djelimady Tounkara has developed his own quicksilver guitar style originating from the kora and balafon music of Mali, with strong Cuban, rock and blues influences.
Inspired by each other's music, Djelimady and Bill have created this explosive combination which brings together a select group of extraordinary musicians from Frisell's band, The Intercontinentals, each bringing acompelling and distinctive dynamic to the ensemble.
